Think of us as the online equivalent of a good long chat by the school gate with one of those veteran parents who seem to know everything and everybody.
We all want to help our kids achieve more and enjoy school more, and as parents we can help each other learn what to expect in each grade before our kid gets there.
Because quite simply, we have amazing parents in South Pasadena and we want to harness your talents and passions for the benefit of all the kids at the school! The current programs and events are phenomenal: the science careers night, the talent show, the art programs, our PTA and the small army of volunteers who turn out for every event.
We're also here to complement the school website by providing information that the school has neither the time nor the resources to focus on. Our menu links will go beyond the universe that is our children. “Parents are often so busy with the physical rearing of children that they miss the glory of parenthood, just as the grandeur of the trees is lost when raking the leaves” (Marcelene Cox). We believe to truly appreciate parenthood, parents need to find the grandeur of grown up things too.
